Eliotta are a series of knitwear garments made of yarn coming from recycled jeans.

The name “Eliotta” is both a tribute to Elio Fiorucci, that represents, for me, a style icon in the denim sector and refers also to the wearability of the garment, since the suffix _otta in Italian stands for something “big”, in that case for a product that is pleasantly comfortable.

The yarn used to produce these garments is totally ecological , it is obtained by recycling used jeans, thus minimising the environmental impact. The colours are obtained using 100% denim or jeans mixed with regenerated cotton but the fibres are never dyed and retain their original colouring, thus saving precious resources, in particular the consumption of water for coloring is almost nothing.

A small quantity of recycled cotton (around 15%) is add to the recycled jeans to guarantee the durability of the knitwear product.

The stiffness you might experience after the wash of Eliotta is absolutely normal since it act like denim trousers, the sweater will soften again as soon as you will wear it and it will get back to its original shape.
